Casters

If you have very heavy items to be transported, choose a larger caster. In general, the larger the wheel, the easier it rolls. Hard wheel casters roll easier on hard surfaces, and softer wheels roll easier and more smoothly on rough surfaces. We list the load capacity for the respective caster shown, for each wheel. With 4 casters on most cases, you multiply the rating by 4 to arrive at the maximum weight your case might weigh. Casters are available with wheel locks, or with the locking wheel and hub, which helps keep the case from shifting in transit or on stage. Ridged non-swivel, casters are also available in all sizes.
